Ville Collaborative Christmas Party

Up until 2017, the Bridge of Hope has hosted a Christmas give-a-way.  In 2017, the effort expanded to become the Ville Collaborative Christmas Party.  Unfailing Love Christian Church hosted the Christmas party and give-a-away at their location on Trinity Ave. in the Ville neighborhood.  Each of the 100 families were given wash baskets filled with household and personal care items.  Parents were able to pick out toys for all of their children from the Toy Store in addition to hats, gloves, and scarves.  Because of the collaboration of many dedicated individuals, 170 children had gifts for them on Christmas Day.

Social Justice 4 All provided the food, drinks, and crafts for the younger children.

Most of the personal care items were donated by St. Anselm Catholic Church.  They also donated many of the hats, gloves, and scarves.

Bridge of Hope and Social Justice 4 All provided some toys, wash baskets, and personal care items.

St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church donated toys and blankets.

St Matthew Catholic Church donated coloring books and crayons.

Unfailing Love Christian Church worked very hard on this event and received donations from many generous individuals.

This event was truly a collaboration and gave justice to the phrase ‘Jesus is the Reason for the Season’.  Jesus was working through everyone involved.  Thank you Jesus for giving us the opportunity to serve others!
